Primary bone tumors and tumor-like lesions of the radius operated in a tertiary orthopedic oncology center

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the incidence, surgical management, histologic and anatomic distribution of patients who operated in a tertiary orthopedic oncology center with diagnosing primary bone tumors radius.
 
 Material Methods: A total 96 ( 37 female, 59 male ) presented our department period 17 years (2003-2020) diagnosis radius were analyzed. The assessed according age, gender, complaints, tumor grade, localization, treatment method, recurrence, functional outcomes.
 Results: There 85 (88.5%) benign 11 (11.5%) malign tumors. Pain swelling evident all Of lesions, 57 had pain, 19 accompanied by deformity. also detected second third decades. most common malignant giant cell (n=29, 30.2%) Ewing sarcoma (n=6, 6.2%). Fifty-six (65.8%) lesions 7 (63.6%) located distal radius. MSTS scores 27.6±1.72 24.5±1.77 for respectively. Local recurrence has occurred three one sarcoma.
 Conclusion: represents that curettage remains feasible first choice Although anatomy forearm is complex, limb-sparing surgery possible biological reconstruction methods
